About Gemma

Welcome to Gemma's Wine Story! My journey into the enchanting world of wine in 2022 at Helen and Joey Estate, where I first discovered my deep-seated passion for winemaking. Fast forward to today, and I’m excited to be a part of the vibrant team at Yering Farm Wines, and Punt Road winery  where I serve as a Cellar Door, Marketing Assistant and also am booking live music for venues. Throughout my experiences, I have developed a profound love for not just the art of winemaking and the beauty of vineyard work, but also for providing exceptional customer service to wine enthusiasts.

Throughout my time in the wine world I have also worked and spent lots of time learning wine at my local shop Hops and Vines in Warrandyte. many tastings have been done there and I travel the world through their wine.

With my WSET Level 2 certification now completed, I am thrilled to continue expanding my knowledge and savouring every delightful sip of wine along this wonderful journey!

A little dream I have is to open a little wine bar. It will have everything stocked from local small businesses to wine from France so you can travel through taste. It will be the small intimate venue of a cellar door in a more local home for people. You can come for a drink with friends to relax or come to learn about wine and winemaking.
